The push to develop entrepreneurship in Singapore and promoting an entrepreneurial culture has been given an even greater focus amidst the needs for innovation and value creation in challenging times ahead. At ACE, we believe that an entrepreneurial culture should be inculcated at a young age by exposing our youths to the Singapore Startup ecosystem as well as getting them involved in the ecosystem. To this end, we have different programmes and communities which our youths can participate in and learn more about youth entrepreneurship outside their school curriculums.
Learning Journey Programme
ACE conducts learning journey programmes for schools with the following aims:
- To expose students to Singapore’s entrepreneurship ecosystem
- To promote an understanding of the critical role startups play in our economy
Students will hear about the various ways Singapore supports startups, from the building of infrastructure to providing funding and resources. A guided tour of the JTC LaunchPad@one-north will allow students to get a glimpse into the office spaces of startups and incubators, as well as appreciate how these facilities and programmes enable the cross-pollination of ideas and make the LaunchPad a vibrant place for startups.
All tours are conducted in English and are approximately 60-90 minutes long.
To register for our Learning Journey programme, get in touch with us at email@example.com.
EDGE (Empower, Develop and Groom Entrepreneurs)
EDGE comprises of student representatives from various Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) who are keenly involved in the entrepreneurial scene. Launched in March 2016, EDGE is the youth wing of ACE which aims to rally the schools together to promote youth entrepreneurship and empower aspiring young entrepreneurs on a national level through knowledge-sharing events.
To be the go-to community for youth entrepreneurs in Singapore, by creating an effective ecosystem this empowers and nurtures youths to become entrepreneurs.
To promote awareness of and henceforth inspire youth entrepreneurship on a national level. This is achieved by sharing knowledge and experiences through events, activities, workshops, and tapping on current resources available.
