Jointly organised by ACE and JTC, LaunchPad Founders’ Breakfast seeks to build community spirit and promote networking and exchanging of ideas amongst LaunchPad startup founders/tenants in their respective industries.

In this session, FinTech startups were invited to participate, network and exchange best practices with one another.
Olivier Berthier of Moneythor shared his insights on building a Singapore-based B2B fintech firm in the digital banking space, and selling products and services to financial institutions worldwide. Olivier also shared with other founders his startup journey and how his company managed to overcome common challenges such as funding and securing clients and deals. [Read More]

Session 2 | 17 September 2021
In this session, Gabriel Tan and Marcus Tan from The BioFactory spoke about innovations amidst COVID-19 and biomedical products deployed by our healthcare providers. They also shared with participants how The Biofactory used digital prototyping to design, visualise and optimise their products.
Through this event, our speakers and startup founders in the biomedical industry got the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with one another. They discussed product commercialisation and manufacturing amongst other topics. [Read More]

In this session, Marcus Wong, Co-Founder of Svested, shared that one way to attract and retain talent is to put in place an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) plan. ESOP helps to build motivation for employees, foster trust and cooperation within the team, and can potentially mitigate cash flow problems.
Participating founders, from Blk 67 and 71 at LaunchPad @ one-north, also shared with the group their experience and challenges in the implementation of ESOP. A pro tip for founders is also for founders to consider having an expanded pool of shares during the implementation of ESOP. [Read More]
